As businesses and consumers rely more on digital interactions, ensuring authenticity, protecting sensitive information, and preventing fraud are essential pillars of a trustworthy ecosystem. This event, co-hosted with the World Bank, will explore how digital identity and other tools are supporting and shaping the present and future of trust in a digital world while helping combat fraud. Advances in quantum computing continue to accelerate and are likely to transform elements of security and trust. Preparing for those developments in the near future are a priority today.

Hosted alongside the World Bank & IMF Spring Meetings, technology experts, industry leaders, and senior officials will share insights on strategies and tools that can mitigate emerging quantum-era risks while enhancing confidence in digital interactions and identity verification in the financial industry.

This roundtable will begin with remarks and dialogue from lead discussants before opening to insights and comments from the broader group. For more information about this event, or to nominate a colleague to attend this session, please contact Daniel Mendez Delgado ([email protected]).

This in-person, invitation-only session will be held under the Chatham House Rule, and it is closed to the press.
