As you gear up for Climate Week NYC 2024, please join the IIF and experts from our member banks for a presentation and discussion of a new IIF White Paper on an Energy Supply Ratio (ESR) for Bank Disclosures which will be published shortly before this event.

ESR metrics have been proposed as a new measure to provide insight into a bank's energy financing specifically the financing of low-carbon energy (e.g., renewables) relative to high-carbon energy (e.g. fossil fuels). The IIF has been working with a number of member banks to analyze this ESR metric, its use cases, advantages, limitations and the whole suite of technical design choices an individual bank needs to make to calculate an ESR ratio.

Featured Speakers:
+ Jennifer Livingstone, Vice President, Enterprise Climate Strategy, RBC
+ Valerie Smith, Chief Sustainability Officer, Citi
+ Heather Zichal, Global Head of Sustainability, JPMorganChase.

This event will be led by Sonja Gibbs, Managing Director and Head of Sustainable Finance, IIF, Jeremy McDaniels, Deputy Director, Sustainable Finance, IIF and Katie Rismanchi, Deputy Director, Regulatory Affairs, IIF. We will provide an overview of our industry-led analysis through a brief presentation and interactive panel discussion including a Q&A from the audience.
