We were pleased to launch this year's final installment of the IIF Global Debt Monitor. This session, sponsored by Fitch Ratings, kicked off with a concise presentation of the main findings from our report, "Global Debt Monitor: Winds of Change - Prospects for Debt Markets in 2025."

Following the presentation, an expert panel explored critical policy and economic trends shaping global debt markets, covering the impact of the U.S. presidential elections, renewed inflation and supply chain concerns, growing debt-related and geopolitical risks, and the debt market outlook for 2025. The discussion also offered updates on the global sovereign debt policy agenda and efforts to mobilize transition finance for emerging markets and developing economies.
