This invitation-only, closed-door roundtable will feature conversations with policymakers, regulators and leading financial firms.

Trade barriers, a shift away from multilateralism, and the rise of industrial policy are creating new strategic challenges, threatening the competitiveness of countries seeking to accelerate the net zero transition. This changing global landscape calls for Europe to take a more pragmatic approach to financing the transition while keeping climate ambition high.

The roundtable will offer a timely focus on:

+ Creating an enabling policy, regulatory and market environment to support the net zero transition in a changing global landscape
+ Key priorities to simplify and streamline the EU sustainable finance framework; and
+ Ways to promote international alignment and harmonization, with the aim of scaling transition finance within and beyond the EU.

For more on these topics, please see our recent advocacy letter referencing the EU Sustainable Finance Framework.

This roundtable with be held under the Chatham House Rule.
