Ashok Bhundia joined the IIF in October 2024 as Deputy Chief Economist in our Economic Research Department. Ashok brings significant experience to the IIF, most recently as Senior Emerging Markets Macroeconomist and Strategist with Exoduspoint Capital Management. He also held various other positions, including Economist at the Bank of England, Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, and worked for the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC from 2001 to 2006.
Education
Ashok holds an Masters degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom and a Bachelors degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.
