On July 2, 2024 the IIF submitted its response to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) Proposed Rule on Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act of 2022 (CIRCIA). The IIF acknowledges CIRCIA’s primary goal of preserving national security, economic security, and public health and safety amidst an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape.

On June 25, 2024, the IIF and its insurance members responded to the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) consultation on the Draft Revisions to Supervisory Material Related to the Holistic Framework in ICPs 12 and 16 and related ComFrame standards.

On June 18, 2024, the IIF responded to the IAIS’s consultation on Climate Risk Consultation Package 3 – proposed changes to Insurance Core Principles guidance to reflect climate risk.

On June 14, the IIF submitted its responded to the International Association of Insurance Supervisors' (IAIS) Draft Application Paper on Supervising Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

On June 10, 2024, the IIF responded to the FSB’s consultation on liquidity preparedness for margin and collateral calls.

The Institute of International Finance (IIF), together with GFMA and ISDA, has submitted a response to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) consultation on the global systemically important bank (G-SIB) revised assessment framework.
