This briefing note summarizes the September 2024, IIF Digital Asset Forum, respecting that the forum is conducted under the Chatham House Rule and does not represent the official position of the IIF or its membership. This session considered the balance between innovation and governance in permissionless networks, including how it relates to adoption by public and private sector institutions. Additionally, the feedback loop between more offerings on-chain drawing more users onto blockchain and blockchain adoption generating more offerings on-chain was discussed. The IIF convenes the Digital Asset Forum with our knowledge partner, the Oliver Wyman Forum.
